The ABB Pigtail surge protective devices are designed for service entrance or subpanel locations. They provide small, easy-to-install surge protection for the entire home or office. The surge protective device consists of monolithic, high energy metal oxide varistors per phase with integral thermal and overcurrent protection. An illuminated LED indicates the proper function of the protective elements. The ABB plug-in surge protective device conveniently connects inside the ABB ReliaHome™ or PowerMark™ load center, directly onto the bus, like a circuit breaker, providing surge protective elements for the entire panel and all attached loads.
