Pretty useful, prone to breaking and rusting

I bought about 4 of these for my tomatoes and squash and for maybe $4 it’s pretty durable, so far the tomatoes are supported. I’ve bought one that had a leg that separated from the band once I pulled them apart. It still works. I’m sure I’ll have to buy galvanized or plastic in the future because where the metal meets it’s starting to rust. Some are even rusted at the store. But I’d recommend and buy the small or medium ones under $5-$7, great spacing for climbing and crowding plants. Oh! They ...

Cheap, effective, durable. Can't ask much more.

They're tomato cages. Stick them in the ground and they hold up heavy fruiting plants. These ones do a perfect job of that, and they hold up well over time, resisting corrosion from moisture in the air and soil. Also, they're cheap. Can't ask for much more than that.

Fair support but too many are broken and rusty

Fair price for a larger than average tomato cage to help support taller plant varieties. Used with my Sun Sugar and did really well! Some broken welds and rust - choose yours carefully, but I was surprised to see them having issues while still in the store!

Weak welds

A number of the about 5 dozen cages I purchased had weak welds that broke when installing in sandy moist soil. If you have opportunity, pick your own one by one. I ordered mine for pick up to expedite my purchase. Several were bent pretty badly and obviously broken. Order pickers at Lowes do bot seem to have a notion about picking quality pieces for a customer order.

Delivered to wrong address

These were delivered to the wrong address. There’s no way for me to identify where they were delivered in the photo provided.

Not as tall as older cages

I have an older tomato cage it is 59 inches tall, looked around could only find newer cages that are 54 or 42 inches tall and the wire is thinner, also some cages try to get away with three legs, talk about shrinkflation. Cage should work, just disappointed about the cages height and wire thickness.

Tall and Sturdy

This is sturdy and useful for tomatoes and peppers. My mom wanted mine because hers are flimsy. One thing I will say is I like how tall they are, but be sure you have deep enough soil for them to stand well.

Thin and Flimsy

It's a bit flimsy and I noticed rust on it after I got it home. The better cages were sold with 3 in a set and I only needed 1 so I bought this. Not sure how it will be when the tomato plant grows.

Buyer beware.

The spot welding does not stay attached. 50% of the one's I have purchased have broken on the top ring. As a result I have to re "solder" the broken ring, and then clad over that spot with a silicone glue to keep it from being abrasive to the plant. Might I suggest some QA at the fabrication facility.
