I wanted something a little better than just top soil to fill in some flower beds with terrible soil. It was dark healthy looking soil with more to it than basic top soil.

Bought this for lawn top dressing. I've used Cedar Grove compost before and this mix appeared to be well suited for lawn top dressing. It was not. I encountered two problems. First, I bought a pallet of this for home delivery. What I got were bags that had small cuts in them and must have sat outside because they had a lot of moisture that had saturated the product. Very Happy With this Topsoil

I have a backyard that is about 20,000 feet. I had a number of grub-eaten spots that needed reseeding and then top soil. I first bought 5 bags of this stuff, but ended up needing 25. (That's my fault....) This topsoil spread easily, covered what I needed to, and is holding water well. There were**extremely few** sticks or other matter that tends to be in topsoil. All-in-all, I'm extremely happy with this topsoil, and I will buy it again in a heartbeat!

I normally go to a local sand and gravel place to pick up a yard or more of 3 way top soil to do lawn projects. I had some touch up spots in my yard for leveling purposes, so I purchased 5 bags of this Cedar Grove Premium Top Soil. There were no reviews of this product, so I took my chances. When I first deployed it, I felt it was pretty decent. After a day or so of watering, all the sticks have emerged (some of those sticks are 4" or longer).
