LARGE TREE STAKES

If you are planting a large tree these large stakes will serve to hold it up under wind pressure. I used 2 stakes to secure a large Norfolk Pine tree that I relocated. I placed the 2 stakes perpendicular to the wind direction in a front and back orientation. These 8 foot long stakes allowed me to bury them to a depth to 3 feet such that I are solidly held by the soil. Then I tied the tree to the stakes using strong garden wire which also found at Lowe's nursery.

These sturdy wooden stakes are 2 ft. above the depth of the vampires grave, so you can hammer them in from above without jumping in the hole and getting dirty. Or worse, not being able to climb back out.

Straight and Hard

We needed something straight and hard for a project. A lot of times other hardware stores have such things that are not straight and they are flimsy. Not at LOWES

Straight as an Arrow

I purchased a tree stake at Lowe's and as usual it's perfectly straight with No splits in it. Lowe's products ALWAYS seem to be my best choice no matter what I'm looking for. Lowe's, the only place I ever shop for lumber, hardware, etc.

Bent & Split

Look through the stakes available and all had a bend and/or a split. Brand new stack of stakes that were still banded together and looked good weren't available to me when I asked, associate stated that the really bad ones had to be sold first. Next time going to a different store.
