Each cartridge uses carbon-impregnated cellulose (granular activated carbon) with a 5 nominal micron rating to reduce sediment, chlorine taste and odor, and other unpleasant tastes and odors. Slim, universal design installs quickly to replace Culligan US-550 and US-600 cartridges and fits many standard-size systems including US-560, US-560K, CTR-210, RO-3167, SY-2000, SY-5167 and select models from Omni, Sears, Fulflo, Teledyne Water Pik, Ace, Flotec, Honeywell, General Electric and American Plumber. Filter life is up to 3 months or 250 gallons, and the product is NSF International tested and certified.
