Recommended for use on a flat, concrete-like surface and Minimum tongue weight of 500 lbs to Maximum tongue weight: 1,000 lbs (400 lbs to 800 lbs when used with the bracket). Product performance may decrease on inclines, loose surfaces, and with unevenly distributed trailer weight.
The XL can push a trailer up a 5% (2.8 Degree) grade (will lower capacity); never pull your unit up any kind of incline.
