Florence horizontal mailboxes are designed for use in larger multifamily apartment buildings, dormitories, and office high rises. These time-tested mailboxes are not USPS approved for new installations. The USPS requires properties upgrade to current standards when any remodel or renovation occurs to the property. Any remodel big or small should drive an upgrade to CBU or 4C mailboxes.
