The following instructions are intended to provide a general overview of the steps for installing a truck bed liner for planning purposes. Your tools, materials and instructions may vary depending on the products used. Always defer to the manufacturer’s recommendations and safety precautions. Make sure to always work in a well-ventilated area and wear the proper safety attire such as coveralls, gloves, a respirator and eye protection.

Other Spray-On Truck Bed Liner Options

Some paint liner kits can be applied using a paint sprayer for faster, more even work. Also, some liner kits come in the form of aerosol spray cans that work much like spray paint. Like the truck bed liner kits, spray paint options also come in different finishes and colors, including flat black, glossy black, matte tan and flat clear.

Need to Know

Be sure to read the manufacturer’s instructions for application options. Never use an application method that isn’t recommended for the product.
