How to Assemble a Gas Fire Pit Table

Unpack the parts and hardware pack from the container. Use the expanded view of the parts and the parts list to identify all of the pieces and see if anything is missing. You will also see the tools required for proper assembly. For this piece, it is a #2 Phillips head screwdriver. You can also use a small cordless screwdriver or drill with a #2 Phillips bit.

It is advisable to spread out your parts on a smooth surface without any cracks or openings. You can also use a tarp to lay out your parts and hardware to keep them from getting lost. 

Hand tighten all of the screws first. When all connections for the assembly step have been made, you can tighten them fully. Then proceed to the next step.

With a helper, turn the fire pit over so the top is facing down. (Here is where an old blanket or cardboard is handy.) Using 8 of the shorter screws (2x per leg) and your screwdriver, hand tighten each one until all four legs are attached. Do not fully tighten until step 5.

Attach the side panels and rear panel with 12 of the shorter screws. You should fasten the bottom screws before the top ones. Again, do not fully tighten these screws yet.

Place the gas tank prevent bar on the unit and attach it using 4 of the shorter screws. Next, attach the base using 4 of the longer screws. Go back and fully tighten all of the screws you have fastened to the fire table.

With help, return the table to its upright position. Place the door into the slots provided. The door knob should line up with the magnetic latch.

Locate your bag of fire glass rocks and open it up. Place the rocks by hand along the burner bin so you do not cover the burners and they do not get clogged with dust. Also, do not cover the pilot housing with the glass rocks.  After you have installed all of the fire glass, place the table insert over the burner opening.

Lift the control panel lid and locate the battery cap. Remove the cap and insert the AA battery, making sure to remove any plastic wrap on the battery if necessary. The positive terminal of the battery should be pointed up. Replace the cap and secure it.

This fire table uses a standard grill LP gas tank with external valve threads. Open the table door and loosen the gas tank retainer bolt, turning it counter-clockwise. Place the tank upright in position in the fire pit base, making sure the tank valve is facing the gas live connector. Secure the tank into position by turning the retainer bolt clockwise until it is tight. The tank is now ready to be connected to the regulator hose assembly.
