This flooring is garbage, DO NOT BUY ALLEN & ROTH! This flooring has been installed for 8 months now. one night water from the kitchen sink was left on the floor overnight. the flooring is stained and warping. the top scratches easily and is not very strong. lowes doesn't even carry the same color anymore so I can't even fix it. what garbage!
Not good for floors
This product is beautiful but it would be best installed on a ceiling or as a decorative wall but not as flooring. It is so sensitive that even water will permanently spot it. It's also soft so heels leave marks and scratches. In addition, it has to be cleaned with the proper cleaner and re-waxed often. I'm so sorry I bought this product - it was a $6,000 mistake.
Job took longer than expected
After waiting for all flooring pieces, most of the flooring was too warped to install. The store associate was very helpful trying to obtain more from warehouse ( unsuccessful) was able to find some at another store. The final installation was great. But the warehouse’s ability to provide what the store sold was disappointing. The installers however did an excellent job in the end.

I love how the floor turned out, however if you're like me and have other projects going on after install, do yourself a favor and protect your floors!! These particularly scratch very easy, I think they'll survive our cats nails but if you have dogs, I'd reconsider. They do have black streaks going down each plank which personally, I don't like very much, but other people seem to like them when they see the floors so I'll live with it because they look great otherwise. It is a beautiful flooring but doesn't last and scratches so easily. I don't recommend purchasing if its a room that has a lot of in and out traffic. We've had the flooring maybe 2 years and I already want to replace because it looks like its been installed for years. Take my advice and don't buy because of durability and price.
Happy with floating floor
I purchased the floor because the description said floating install click lock. After getting all the boxes delivered and opening the instructions it said nail or glue down install with no mention of click lock. Dismayed by the conflicting install advice, I clicked some of the boards together and they seemed sturdy, so we decided to move forward with the original floating floor plans. The pros are obviously the pricing. The floor also looks beautiful and while the installation isn't terribly difficult, we did not realize it was nail/glue down until we had prepped the floors and were ready to start installing. Review of Rustic Brown Bamboo Engineered Flooring
Beautiful color. ALWAYS pick from four or so cartons as there is a variation of coloring. The instructions on the Lowe's website are WRONG! The instructions in the package call for one of two types of installation - nail down or glue down. There is nothing to indicate that this is a floating flooring product. I used an 18 gauge brad nailer with 1 1/4" brads shot at an angle. Worked great.
