Beautiful, soft, modern look

Unreliable in enclosed fixtures

The bulbs have terrible reliability in enclosed fixtures. I put these all over my house and mainly have enclosed fixtures. Almost every single bulb has had to be replaced with some more than once. They just don't seem to last longer than about a year in heavy use areas. Just about the only place I haven't had to replace bulbs are in bathrooms where the lights aren't on for many hours during the day. Good quality, attractive light

Very easy installation (I--a middle aged woman---did it myself in about 10 minutes), and the glass shade is pretty. I bought it because it fit my space well. I was able to fit a standard bulb behind the shade.

Gorgeous fixture!

Absolutely love this light fixture! It is exactly what I was looking for in my newly renovated bathroom. it was easy to install and provides nice lighting. Some reviews complained about the outside lights butting up against the wall, but mine has plenty of clearance. Had to order the matte black online and it arrived with one shade broken so I ordered another one and it arrived in perfect condition.

Not packaged well

This item was an online only item. I ordered online and had it delivered to my house. The light fixture arrived with the 3 glass shades broken. They were wrapped only in bubble wrap and not securely fastened in the box. I returned it to the store and no issues with the return. I then ordered again and had it shipped to the store. They do not last

I have purchased these twice, the second time was with a coupon I received from GE after the first box had 6 bad/failed bulbs. They either fail quickly or when you screw them into the base the glass shield detaches from the base. The last two from the first box both failed today, one is completely out and when I tried to remove it the glass shield broke off and the other is blinking on and off. Defective light bulbs, and replacements are just a

While these bulbs initially look great and dim like they're supposed to on an LED dimmer switch, they all began to flicker and eventually go out in less than a year. GE's warranty department replaced all the bulbs, but then the replacements started doing the same thing in less than 6 months! We've given up on using these bulbs completely. DO NOT BUY!

They have a long life so you don't have to replace

I put them in all of my lamps. I like the soft glow but still bright enough for me to read. It's not that harsh white that makes you feel like you're in a store.
