Beautiful and can be plug in or hard wired
This light came as a plug in light however had clear instructions to modify to hard wired. Simple to modify and looks great.

Mounting sucks
Mounting screws are super short, the bracket has to be perfectly flush with the wall or you cant put the light up. Otherwise a nice fixture

Looks great, easy to install
Great sconce for living room — looks classy without breaking the bank. The sconce was very easy to install, going from the box to hard wired on the wall in less than 30 minutes. The dimmer switch worked as intended, though the first bulb I tried did not dim/brighten much — you may have to try out a few bulbs to see which ones work well with it. Patchy dimming
I love this sconce and the fact that I can hardwire it or plug it in, and that it's dimmable. The design works beautifully in my bedroom. I deducted a star because the dimming is patchy and backwards. I'm other words, it turns on bright, and if you want the nightlight, you have to turn it ALL the way UP past the point of blinding yourself and others present, and then turn it down to get the lower lighting. Very easy to install
This allen + roth meredith light sconce was super easy to install. I chose to install it using the cord and plug rather than hard wiring it as I wasn't replacing an existing light. It came with the option to install it both ways but it came with the plug amd cord already attached making it a breeze to get up on the wall in 15 minutes. It has a nice, modern design and a highlight is that it is dimmable!

A multi-function Wall Sconce
This is a nice wall sconce and well made. The one that I received did have a minor flaw in the finish. The light does not come with the bulb shown. It is larger than I thought from the pictures. The glass is a blown unit, so it has some minor imperfections which adds to the charm. The power cord that came with it is a little stiff, so it hangs a bit off. It is also clear wire which I don't appreciate.

I am so happy with this wall sconce. It came packaged very well, the glass was in perfect shape. Assembly was easy. It came with a template to make your marks on the wall. It did not need to be hardwired, and the cord to plug it in is semi transparent so that it blends in easily with the wall. It also has a dimming function, which was a nice surprise!

A great light fixture with great options
I really like how well made this light fixture is, along with the flexibility of use. With needing a light fixture for my dark landing area, this worked perfectly. I was able to plug it in after installing. With being able to choose how bright or dim I wanted the light was also a big plus. Would highly recommend this light fixture.

Looks good, works well.
Looks good, works well. I bought six of these. One had some sticky goo on it that needed alcohol to remove. Fortunately the alcohol did not harm the paint. One minor flaw is that when mounted on a flat wall (not on an electrial box) the dimple for the grounding screw will scratch the wall. I removed the screw and used a washer under the mounting screws to keep the dimple from scratching the wall. Also, do not overlook the fact that there is a switch and dimmer on these.
