Terrible design

I’ve done a few of these closet systems and know they are all frustrating. But this one took it to a new level. It expects that you have 16” studs - ours are 17”. And more frustrating— it assumes your studs are centered in the closet. Of course ours are not, and the telescoping poles don’t fit on one side. Easy to put together. Holds up well!

We have had the Allen + Roth closet tower for about 10 years. It’s still in great shape so we decided to add to it, so pretty and great for organizing!!

Is not wood as advertised

Very disappointed. I saw the reviews and even thought i decided to buy it. After placing the last piece. A corner ship. Showing me that is not wood. I Spend 1k.

Simple to assemble and very functional

I read the other reviews stating how hard this was for them. I experienced no issues and I have a non-standard closet space. I will say that you need to be DIY skilled to handle this. You need to be able to read blueprints and be able to interpret them. The instructions are not great but they are ok. hanger support break

I have purchased 6 of these units now and the common weak area is the support for the hanger pole. screws don't go deep enough and this time the screws split the wood. not happy with this result and I'm too far in to take it all apart to return it.

Great quality but off-gassing is strong

I bought this after seeing the display in Lowe’s I found it looked the closest to custom that I could find without looking cheap. Easy to put together, one of the slides for the drawers broke but Lowe’s customer service sent a replacement right away. My only complaint is the off gassing is awful. Low Quality

I've assembled many all-in-one boxes of furniture/cabinetry. I expect imperfections. The primary issue with this system is the structure itself. I've used the cam lock and bolt mechanisms before in assembling and never had any issues. These do not fit together, the locks are brittle, the bolts are too thin, and there is no 'lock' aspect. Hartford Ventilated Closet System

Decided on the Allen and Roth system, after being priced thousands for basic closet system, some were made of melamine, others looked like layered cardboard. Only hiccup was items selling fast, and restock timeframe was not available. Anyway, I am happy with the look and material, by the way make sure your wall can hold the system. There are work arounds. Lowe’s doesn’t install, but I had a contractor do mine.
