I can't believe how much lamp shades cost now. Lowes price is great compared to others. This shade has a very nice color and padded feel to it. Once I got it up, it wasn't quite the look I was going for, so I returned it. But, it's a very nice quality lamp shade.

Until I found a great lamp at a tag sale, I had no idea that finding a shade for it would be such a problem! I looked all over including Morehead City and Jacksonville. I found shades, of course, but they cost as much as a brand new lamp!!! A neighbor asked, "Have you tried Lowe's?" --and there it was. The odd, squared-off shade makes it look custom and the material easily passes for silk. For those who need a bigger shade, it comes a few inches larger as well. Excellent value!

You will love it. To bad Lowe’s doesn’t sell the attachment that hooks to the shade that allows you to clamp the bulb directly to the shade. Lowe’s sells amp harps but for a small lamp it puts the shade way to high on the lamp. Lowe’s buyers evidently don’t know much about lamps!

The color on the website is OFF
I purchased this online and the color of the shade on the website appears to have a silver sheen to it. It is GOLD. I received it and was unpleasantly surprised. It is a beautiful shade but not the color that I need or was expecting.
