Bedside lamp
I purchased a pair of these lamps to be used as bedside lighting. While the design is just what I wanted, I was disappointed to learn (after purchasing the shades) that I am restricted in the watt usage of the light bulbs. Apparently the shorter arms holding the shade require a dimmer bulb so the shade doesn't catch fire. I used a 40 watt bulb, and found it to be lacking in order to read in bed. Very pretty! I paired with the small tan linen fabric drum shade. I really like it. Keep in mind this is a small lamp. The description says black, but I would consider it more of a dark brown with slight highlights.
