Looks Great! Butttttt....

Love the way they look and feel after they FINALLY were put together. This 15 min process turned into much longer time due to the fact that 4 of the bolt holes did not line up at all. We started to try to use clamps to try to hold it in place but that still didn't come close to lining up. We ended up having to place a 2x4 between the frame and hit it with a mallet to bend the frame into place. Thankfully any cosmetic damage was inside the chair. Warning to all you prospective buyers. These allen + roth chairs are junk. Cheaply made, poorly constructed and impossible to assemble. Also, this is my SECOND review because Lowe's did not publish my first. I wonder how many OTHER one-star reviews have been deleted??? Buyer beware. Have a drink before putting together

I wish I would have read the reviews better. The chairs barely line up with the holes for the bolts. Took me 2 hours to put one chair together. There is no direction on which way the swivel base is supposed to go, currently it is rubbing against the base so I have to take it apart again and see if that’s the issue. Buyer beware of more work needed than should be

When putting the chairs together, I noticed the holes for the bolts that connect the chair seat frame to the back of the chair were not visible. Luckily I bought 2 chairs and knew where they should be. The manufacturers just decided to not expose the holes the bolts would fasten into so I had to cut the material with a utility knife in order to be able to bolt the seat frame to the back of the chair. The bad reviews don't reflect the end product

Assembly can be frustrating. One chair was assembled no problem. The second one I had some issues with slots lining up. You definitely can't tighten until all bolts have been placed. You need that wiggle room to get parts to line up, it's very important. At times I had to disassemble to set one bolt before moving on, its a puzzle at times. The second chair took me forever but it is doable if you follow the directions. I was hesitant to purchase because of the bad reviews but you can't beat half ...

Hard to read instructions but not impossible!

I honestly was going to send these back before even attempting to assemble them, however, I'm super glad I didn't! Many disappointments: *Delivery was a struggle and took two calls to get it to my door after sitting in my town for over a week. *Damaged box and dirty cushions. Tall seat height and firm cushions

Comfortable and bottom cushions are firm. We talk people and the firmness of cushions make it sit higher which is nice. The way the chairs were packaged in the box made large indentions on the inside of the chair arms. Also the holes to assemble everything did not line up so it did take some strength to get everything to line up and screw in. Might be comfortable, I can’t know

The box had been completely destroyed on the truck. I helped the driver unload it piece by piece. One cushion had a large scuff in the middle and the hardware pack is no where to be found. I called customer service and they advised I bring them back to the store. So I’ll load up all the individual pieces and no box and drag it all back to the store I guess. Major inconvenience, and I still don’t have my chairs.. I guess that’s why they are on sale
