Works but reading manual is essential

I'll cut to the chase: dryer does work but reading the manual is crucial. Most important things I learned: 1. Timed Dry uses LOW heat and is for damp (not wet) items. So we never use Timed Dry and MUST rely on the Auto Cycles like Normal, Mixed, Heavy Duty, and Bulky/Bedding. This is OPPOSITE of every other dryer I've owned. 2. Have no idea why this dryer is hated by so many buyers? Researched quite a bit before buying, expected some variation from how a normal dryer works, and it honestly drys like a normal dryer. It works far better than I was expecting. We've been using ours for about a year with no issues at all. It does dry your clothes in around the time a normal dryer dries. Doesn't dry clothes well

I have owned this machine for a few years now, and it has never dried my clothes properly. It is faster to hang things to dry, then put them in for a final dry. If you mix fabrics of any kind in a loas it will not dry (eg a face cloth ends up in your t-shirt load). Faulty Filter! Needs Part No. W11382898 To Work!

Unit comes with a faulty lower lint filter housing. The design is ventless, but this requires 2 lint filters. If the bottom filter fails, then the coils in the heat pump get clogged and the unit overheats, either burning out the high-temp fuse or destroying the main circuit control motherboard. The unit ships with the noted faulty lower filter housing and this housing ALLOWS lint into the heat pump coils. Dryer Performance

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We've had this dryer for about a year. The plus on this unit is that we didn't have to facilitate an exhaust to the outdoors as it's not required. I bought this dryer and the matching washer just over two years ago. I never thought I could dislike an appliance but here it is. Shortly after I got it it stopped working because of an error code and it couldn't be repaired but it took two months without the use of my washer or dryer. It turned out they replaced the dryer. I purchased this dryer a few months ago and didn't know what to expect as I have never owned or needed a "ventless" dryer until my condo purchase where a standard "vented" dryer is not an option. Worst Dryer Ever

Dryer came new as an appliance package with my condo I bought a year and a half ago and I knew I should expect the drying time to be longer than a normal vented dryer but it takes anywhere from half a day to several days to have anything dry in this thing.
