Poor quality absolutely don’t recommend

I’ve had this fridge for almost 2 yrs and I absolutely regret making this purchase. The fridge is incredibly loud and makes a loud buzzing/ringing noise that I can hear throughout my main floor. When I first received the fridge I had to have someone out 3 times to make different repairs. Similar to other people, I have also had occasional issues with food freezing in the fridge. My refrigerator is under 4 years old. It quit working, the user manual I downloaded didn't help. I've unplugged 10 min but it still isn't working. I've been on hold for repair for over and hour. Local repair places don't work on my whirlpool.

Noisy and cheaply made

I explained to the company the first and second times that the unit made 2 seperate loud noises, The tech was here 3 times, once to say it was the circulation fan, it took a week to come in. Ice maker wiring breaks, can't repair

Same issues that other reviewers have commented on. Extremely poor shelf space in freezer. The ice maker wiring design is awful, as the wiring is located at a stress point at the bottom of the freezer door. The wiring breaks easily and is impossible to repair. The repair person who came to check out the problem said it is better to buy a whole new door at the cost of close to 1K, or to just buy a new fridge. VERY DISPLEASED.

Great replacement for an older smaller format one

We designed our cabinets about 20 years ago to allow a 70" model but with cabinets above the fridge forgot to account for the swing of the doors and were limited to units with hinges under 70". Nope

Don't bother. Large capacity, cools and makes ice. Door handles already broke and doors didn't line up correctly from the start. The tiny little star screws that hold the handles on come loose very easily and when opening the door, the handle will pull off instead. You'll need to find the perfect size screws to have on hand - good luck! Whirlpool's quality is pitiful these days, I won't be buying again in the future.

Excellent appliance!

I was very worried that it would not fit into the opening but it did and I actually like it better than my old one. It holds so much on the door and the drawers open very easily. The freezer holds more than my old one. It is very bright inside and the doors open easily.
