Transmission bearing goes out

My washer is about 5 years old and it sounds like it has bad bearings already - the spin cycle is now very loud. Also had to change capacitor. When I spin the drum manually it sounds like shot bearings, while spinning at full speed the thing sounds like a plane taking off in the house. New transmission costs hundreds of dollars. Poor seal design allows water to get into bearings and cause them to fail

I bought this washer in April 2021. I also purchased the extended warranty from Lowes. In February 2023 the washer was going through the mandatory cleaning cycle and stopped. The washing machnine was full of water. The repair person indicated that there was a metal clip that broke from the weight of the drum. Awful

I bought the washer and dryer because at the time it had great reviews. Three years I have gone through not being able to wash my bedding. Forget washing anything heavy in them. The washer just says rebalance, then adds more and more water, then says rebalance again. Takes forever to do anything heavy. The dryer doesn't dry anything bulky all the way. I always have to put my blankets and comforters on the my bed with the fan on to dry it. I would not buy this product again.

Do not buy!!!!! I bought this washer and matching dryer set less than three years ago. I had to have my first service repair within six months of owning the washing machine. Nothing but issues

The water doesn't always come out. When you press the button to manually fill the machine on the inside, it comes out, but then when you go to wash it using the same temperature it won't come out. The fact that the water comes out on manual mode shows that it's not the inlet valve, screens, hoses, and that it is turned on correctly. However, I did check all of those, and there are no issues. Terrible washing machine., don't buy.

I bought this about a year ago, and it is hands down the worst washing machine that I have ever purchased. I have been a happy Whirlpool customer for many, many years and am disappointed by this design. Clothes get tangled up and often have dry patches on the clothes after a complete wash. I have set the water level set to as high as a cycle will allow, and pre-soak set for 30 minutes, and make sure that the tub is never more than half full. I have had two service calls in the year.

Washer works great but connectivity is a let down

Doesn't Work Well And Keeps Breaking

This washer is terrible! We bought a house in summer 2021 and decided to splurge on a new washer/dryer set and sadly picked this Whirlpool washer. It doesn't clean very well without the agitator column and we constantly have "clean" clothes still covered in pet fur or lint. The automatic water level barely covers clothes so we constantly have to set it for a higher fill which negates any water saving. Junk

Worst washing machine i have ever owned! This piece of junk has squealed and screeched since we bought it. It is less than 2 years old and now it needs a new belt, drive fully AND motor because the pulley on the motor is not serviceable by its self.
