Cook box blew up! Never buying weber again.

My cook box blew up. Big hole was created. After examining the material, it looked like cheap pieces of metal pressed together. So disappointed at such a reputable grill company. I emailed Weber and asked if it was covered under warranty. They replied back that since it was a gift it was not covered. What does being a gift have to do with your manufacture warranty on a product? That just means Weber stand behind its product. Only had the grill for about 3 years and it already took a poop. Grill maintains steady, consistent heat evenly distributed throughout. Solid ignition. Searing heat is good, but not excellent. But then again, I like to have the ability to really sear the meat over 800-900 degree heat a times and there aren't many grills at this price point that could do that. Good quality wonderful warranty!

Love this grill for all the right reasons: good quality, nice size and wonderful warranty. It's almost too big for my wife and I and would recommend the smaller 3 burner with sear station and side burner as an alternative. Mine is a propane grill with a scale to weigh the tank and let you know how full it is. Love the cast aluminum sides to lid and fire box too, they won't rust and should last forever. Genesis II S 435 NG SS

The grill was basic to put together, the issue was major. The shelf inside the grill is suupposed to come with 2 holes, 1. for the grease trap and the second hold for the ability to drop the power supply down thru the shelf to then hook to the side of the grill. Gas Grill Review

This is my third Weber Gas Grill, I've loved everyone of them. The previous two grills were handed down to friends and are still in use. 1 Month in and loving it!

We purchased this grill about a month ago and are very pleased thus far. I actually built it myself in approximately two hours and found it to be doable by one person (assuming you can lift the main hood yourself). Since firing it up for the first time we have enjoyed burgers, steaks, chicken, sausages, corn, etc and loved every bite so far. Has an annoying problem

This is a good grill, well made and heats up fast. But as always seems to be, there is an annoying problem and when you pay top dollar for a Weber, there should not be any annoying problems. Problem after problem

I have the Genesis II in the Copper color. I purchased it 2 years ago. Last year I called about the flames getting extremely high. It got so hot that the cook box needed to be replaced because it bent it. I replaced the new cook box and then had issues with the flame not getting high enough.
