Started with confusion on delivery. Was on phone Lowe’s for over 30 minutes. delivered my grill on June 14th, 2019. I decided I would assembly the grill myself because I would never trust anyone but me to assembly an expensive grill. First, hood was dented. Second, bolt to attach middle shelf to leg would not screw in all the way. I swapped out with another bolt from a different leg, and it had the same problem…it would only screw in about 75 percent. Purchased the unit on line through the Weber web site. Delivery was via freight delivery & took ~5 business days after purchase was validated. After reading previous reviews on several different web sites, assembling the grill & using the grill, I figured I write a review based on my opinion. DELIVERY: NO damage upon receipt of the grill. The box was on a wooden skid & stretched wrapped all over. ASSEMBLY: Yes, this will take some time to assemble, BUT....the directions are EASY to follow...

Weber quality but constant maintenance required
I have owned several Weber propane and charcoal grills over the decades. I bought this latest version in roughly late 2017, so almost 2 years ago. All were built to last and great designs with even and sufficient heat throughout. Excellent Grill, rust and other issues
Excellent Grill, fires right up cooks great and evenly. The sear option is fantastic for steaks and the added charred flavor. However with the good comes the bad some issues have come up already. Rusting and bubbling on the paint finish inside bottom tray area and legs not enough for me to warranty it’s just annoying as it’s only going to get worse. I bought the Genesis® II S-335 Gas Grill just before Father's Day. I have used it a few times. I like it a lot! Unlike a lot of people, I put this grill together myself. Great Moderate Level Grill with Useful Features
