Like every grill I've ever used, some spots are warmer than others. It takes a bit of experimentation. Some times this is an advantage. Move thinner cuts to the sides and thicker cuts nearer the back of the grill to get all to cook evenly and be done at the same time. The axillary side burner heats a bit more slowly than I'd hoped. But I can steam a big pot of corn in relatively short order. I'm overall very pleased.

USB Power Manufacturing Design Defect (update)
Update late July 2022 (I was unable to figure out how to update the original review) Weber sent me a new controller interface but it does not work any differently; I still have to unplug the 2-PIN connector to make the USB power work, which is very cumbersome to do. My advice to Weber is (a) fix the electrical hardware and (b) mount the controller in the exact same way, except extend the housing to so that the unit wraps under the grill and up on the side edge a little thus providing eas...

First, assembly was much easier than I anticipated. My wife and I were able to complete the project in under 3 hours. It is important to note that some pieces were well "hidden" in the packaging (underneath other larger items). So it is vital that you remove EVERYTHING from the packing box to ensure you find all of the parts. I've had a Genesis Silver B for over 10 years and decided to upgrade to the EPX-335. I'm glad I did! I really like everything about the cookbox and am going to try my hand at using some of the Crafted cookware, particularly the flat top. I’ve been using my new EPX-335 for a few weeks and love it. Big upgrade from Spirit II
I bought my first Weber gas grill in 2020 going with the Spirit II - and added the igrill3 and have loved it. Evolution from Genesis II to Genesis EPX-335
I bought this unit on Christmas Day. Upon arrival I put the unit together and found the instructions along with the BILT app very helpful in guiding me through the process (about 3 hours). I ordered this grill from BBQ Guys. It was delivered on time and very well packed. The build process by myself took about 8 hours (it was recommended to be a 2-person process, but most of the steps only required 1 person).
