What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise the post sleeves for their sleek, finished appearance and effortless installation, noting they dramatically enhance deck aesthetics with a clean, professional look. The sleeves slide easily over 4x4 posts and cut cleanly with standard tools, requiring no special skills. Most appreciate the heavy-duty, weather-resistant material that eliminates maintenance needs. However, some report cracking, chipping, or scratching during shipping and handling, with concerns about the soft vinyl's vulnerability to damage. Despite these durability concerns, most customers find the product worthwhile for its transformative aesthetic impact and low-maintenance benefits.

Finish shortcoming

Would Recommend

I chose the black composite post sleeve over the black aluminum sleeve. It goes well with the black signature railing, but the color is a little off. I should have went with the metal one. BTW, when I was doing the install, I was using a mosquito repellant on my arms and legs and apparently rubbed up against the post, and some of the color got a whitish look where I leaned up against it. It's there for good. My bad

Order never delivered

Would Not Recommend

I purchased this item online on July 2nd. Now July 22nd, it still has not been delivered to my home. Lowe’s Online Customer chat thanks me for my patience, which the customer who needs this item to complete their deck is livid. In the future, will I order online from Lowes? Not likely. The level of frustration in dealing with this issue has totally colored my experience with Lowes.

trex special order part was damaged

unfortunately someone wasn't very careful with the $170 post cover when shipped. now I have a damaged post cover I have to repair because I cannot wait for a replacement. I think a forklift damaged the item. it was on the bottom of the packaging so I wasn't aware of the damage until I went to unbox them day of install. i just hope I get compensated for their carelessness in care during shipping. I am about to attempt comensation from Lowe's customer service, wish me luck. I hope to get more then...

Store delivery person delivered it shattered!

Would Not Recommend

Do not buy this online for local store delivery like me. It will end up arriving shattered most likely. I like the convenience of the local store delivery, but when you have a problem there are issues. I called customer service within an hour of when it was dropped off. I told the rep that it arrived with a big hole in the box and I asked why the person would even deliver it like that. The rep appologized, said that they gave me the credit and that the store manager would arrange for pickup. N...
