Review of 77404 Z Turn Toro
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed 42 inch to get through 48 inch gate. Have had 3 John Deere over the years. I researched all the 42 inch mowers before I got this model. Bought this on sale through dealer. Have used extensively for a week. Added lift kit and hour meter. Plan to add mulcher during winter for leaves. My comparison to John Deere and Cub Cadet. The toro has ball bearing front end. JD and Cub don't. Deere plastic bushings go out and front wobbles over time. T...

Good mower. Bad battery
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second Toro time cutter. The first one lasted 10 years. This one I was hoping would be great. I had it for exactly 27 days when the battery went out. I sent it back to the company that I bought it from locally. They replaced the battery under warranty. They told me that sometimes mowers sit in crates for months before they're sold and the cells in the battery go bad

Buy Toro! Never buy Craftsman.
Great mower! I had purchased a Craftsmen a few weeks before because it was a few hundred dollars cheaper for the same specs as this Toro model. Bad choice. The Craftsman blew up and started spraying oil in less than an acre of mowing. I returned it and got this Toro... night and day difference. This mower had not problems at all.

Frustrated Buyer
The best part of this process was the delivery driver. After starting up the mower, I drove and parked it in the backyard. Hrs later, I attempted to start the mower and 3 days later, it has yet to start. I contacted Lowes to have them pickup mower and refund my money. Horrible experience.

It works but
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my z a couple years ago. I am disappointed with the cut. It leaves some uncut grass. It has 3 speeds, mowing, towing and trim. I have to cut at the slowest speed trim. I don't believe that you can cut at a higher speed without leaving lots of uncut grass, unless you are cutting grass every other day. The steering is great if you are on pavement, but when cutting it has a tendency to have the tires spin and dig up the grass when it s...

Good so Far
I've had it a week, replacing a 48" JD zero turn. The JD is a good machine, but I couldn't get it started and I'm too old and unmotivated to deal with it. And I've also moved from a larger property,. As far as the Toro, so far so good. These are initial opinions only, will update review if necessary. I've read some reviews and I have to say some I agree with, and others, not so much. Pros (no particular order): 3 gallon gas tank w/visible full view; easy access to battery and, apparently, deck...

I always have good luck with Toro
Quality product with assembly and delivery included. It has a couple of places where the paint was scratched, but it’s a lawnmower so who cares? This mower is fast, powerful and maneuverable. I have always had good luck with Toro.

The 42" Toro Zero Turn Mower is AMAZING! :)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mower is unbelievable! It works so well versus the other Ariens Edge zero-turn lawn mower that I had before. I know that it is better quality, will last me for a long time and it will always get the job done! I am so happy that I bought this Toro mower and can't wait to use it again, this week! :)
