the product is fine the shipper is an idiot. when the box indicates which way the box should be loaded you don't loaded it the wrong way without consequences. the shipment arrived with a significant amount if oil that had soiled the box. oil from the engine had drained out through the upper end of the engine.

Not worth the money

I purchased this because I just turned 78 and my old Toro was very difficult to manuver and heavy. It needed some repairs so I decided to buy a new one that would be easier to operate. After some research for my age this came highly recommended. First of all $1200.00 is way too much for this machine considering it has no gear shift also no light and to engage the auger requires two hands to operate. Shipment issues

We recently ordered this snowblower online through Lowe’s. The item was in stock at our local store, but we did not have a truck to be able to pick it up due to its size. Originally we were told it would arrive on the 12th, but that was not the case. When we tracked the shipment, it went to five different locations and we had to contact the shipping company to find out when it would actually arrive. Good power, too short.

Functionally, it works great with any type of snow. Slushy snow, it struggles more but still works. My problems with it are: 1- the handle it way to short. I have to arch my back and bend my knees sometimes to push it against a snow drift. 2- this is good for a paved driveway. Not a long driveway. It's ok. Cheap parts. Don't from Lowes!

It arrived broken. The cheap little plastic part at the top of the cable assembly for the cable that activates the snow auger was broken. The day after it finally arrived was a snowstorm. I rigged it with a couple of zip ties. That will hold it for a bit , but not beyond this season, I'm sure. It's REALLY annoying to pay this much for a broken snowblower. Finally, something that works, buy one.

Probably the best device I used no matter what the invention is. All you do is walk, while other people think you are pushing-straining LoLz. I got for free a while back, this old Gilson, with blades and SMALL wheels self powered, single stage. That thing blew slush out like a cement truck, like 6 feet or so. Good machine, will fit most.

Good machine. Have had it 7 years. We get 4-12 inch snows and mostly wet type. I usually use it 0 to 4 times a year. Machine throws it 10-12 ft no problem. Plowed in end of driveway use fine, but dig half the bucket, that’s more to not stress the machine. Self propel is good and fast. Installed hose clamps so I don’t go full speed, I walk slow. A good Snowblower if it was designed correctly.

The problem with this snowblower is the weight balance. It's too light up front so it rides up on packed snow. It won't clean down to the pavement if your car is driven or even if you walk on it. The problem could be fix if they make a weight bar kit to keep the front from lifting up. Also most snowblower would blog down but keep going under heavy load but mine would shut down. Stick with a 2 stage or a 3 stage and not thinking this one is going to do both.
