Do not use it if you want to keep it.

If you use the oven frequently, it will likely break down in about 5 years. The oven’s igniter remains active throughout the cooking process, which can cause a hole in the igniter . Unfortunately, Thor, the manufacturer, is unable or unwilling to provide a replacement part, as they are currently out of stock. Both of my neighbors have experienced similar issues and have contacted the Better Business Bureau to report the problem. I wish the person who purchased the oven the best of luck.

48 inch range

Ignition and temp control problems—buyer beware!

We loved this oven initially — great price, looks great, and all the features we wanted. Temperature control in the ovens has been a problem though — not sure when we realized the settings weren't accurate, but we eventually realized the ovens weren't getting up to the settings shown on the dials. Heats up quickly, but temperature is erratic

I bought this to replace a high priced brand gas double oven, that was converted to LP. That oven was serviced 9 times for the same problem (burned out oven igniter). I thought the Thor would be a better choice because it came already equipped for LP fuel, and might not be as “persnickety” to the wetter fuel. Great Dual Purpose Range

We purchased this new range for a kitchen remodel about a month ago. I am so glad that we went with the 48-in double oven ! It has been a great addition to our kitchen and made cooking a lot easier with six burners and a griddle!! I love all the features but I would say the griddle is my favorite part so far. Looking forward to a lot of great meals in this kitchen
