I've been searching for a nice Leatherface for awhile now, All the ones from the mid 2000's are hardly for sell or there broken.I just seen the preview Lowes had for there upcoming Halloween animatronics. When I seen they were bringing back Leatherface I wasted no time and ordered him that night four days later Leatherface is in my family room already providing realistic scares to my kids. Great animatronic this one does not disappoint one of the best I've seen he looks better than the other one...
(Leatherface) Great Item !!!
There are three different Leatherface animatronics this year. (Lowes), (Party City), and (Spirit Halloween). Each are different. I chose the Lowes version because he was reasonably priced, Looks great and it built very durable to withstand many years of use... The party city Leatherface looks great, but its over fifty dollars more and his mask is made of latex that would dry and crack after so many years. The Spirit Halloween has the Pretty woman version of Leatherface that has a working chai...
horrible
I purchased this item last year and within week a week i had to return it. I got a new one and put it up and it worked alright for the season. i then just set him up for another halloween season and he’s smoking and the sensor doesn’t work and he won’t make sound. waste of 300 dollars.
Motion Sensor Sucks!
This is a really cool animatronic. And yes it looks really scary. The problem is the motion sensor. It is almost non existent. For almost $300 you would think they could have provided a better sensor. You have to really be right in front of the little area next to his tie to get it to go off. It almost ruins the whole purpose of getting this thing. Still I think I'll keep him because he does look great and honestly it's too big to lug to the store.
Neighbors avoid looking into my windows now.
Instructions for assembly could be clearer, makes a nice statement to looky-lou neighbors. Does activate with sound which is nice. Sound unit does go quiet for some reason about half way through but then comes back. Keeps my cat entertained which probably says something about her.

Great quality
He is a big guy - love how the foam on his arms actually make him look massive. Other brands have just the cheap wire inside. Great quality garments and attachments. So much better than others i've purchased. Movement and sound is excellent as well. I love the option for step pad activation. Others have only always-on sensors or just off. Highly recommend - he's awesome!
One of the better animatronics
I own Freddy, Pennywise, Georgie, Michael Myers, and now this one. All the others have a cheap plastic chest and scrawny arms. This one's torso is metal and the arms are bulkier. A bit more than the others, but not outrageously so. I feel like it will last longer.
Best Leatherface this year!
The details on this guy look incredible compared to the other retail Leatherface props from other retailers this year. The movement on this guy blows them out of the water!
Defected arm
I just received my leatherface looks amazing but mine came with a defected arm it was twisted so it couldn’t even hold the chainsaw had to return it but will repurchase it hoping it was a one thing defect and not common in this animatronic
Great animatronic for the price point
For the price, this is the best option for a Leatherface animatronic this year. I would definitely recommend this animatronic to anyone that loves 80’s horror.
