Works great for large pond
Product was missing the UV bulb. Things happen.. I picked up another one and it cleared my 2500 gallon pond in about 1 week. It went from practically pea soup to as clear as my pool.

Pond Algae Control
I have yet to install this product though the installation is now in progress. but I'm excited to get it connected to my pond filter and get rid of the algae I've been plagued with for a year. I shopped all over for this item and Lowes had the best price, and the delivery was very fast. Happy shopper!

Helps keep water clear.
This is the second one I’ve purchased first one lasted about 3 years. Seems to work in helping remove algae and keeping water clear.

I've had this exace clarifier before (Tetra 8800) and this is my second one. The first one I had lasted a few years. I had algae issues in my pond that did not go away. The sides of my pond go straight down so I can't lay down plants, and putting them in rings to float seemingly blocked the skimmer opening. Good UV Clarifier to remove algae in pond
I had researched several options for a UV clarifier to remove algae in my pond. My Aquagarden UV clarifier died so I was getting lots of algae. My pond is in my backyard and exposed to full sun. This product was rated highly and was a good price on Lowe’s. I have other TetraPond products so hope it will last a long time.
Cheaply made so it is not useable as sold
The gasket provided to seal the hose connections were too thin to properly seal. We had to go to a specialized plumbing place after checking multiple places to get gaskets that will hopefully work. Many years ago we had purchased a similar filter and it was excellent— not cheaply made like this newer model by the same company

Arrived quickly. Easy install.
The UV filter came much quicker than the estimated arrival date. I installed it a couple of days ago and am waiting for the pond to clear up. Installation was easy. I did not use the provided barb connectors. I purchased threaded male connectors so I could connect to pvc and increase output from the 1.25 inch to the 1.5 inch pipe I use.

Need to replace U V light every 11 months.

Water is so clear
Works Great, only problem I had is it is made for a pond but NOT fully submersible you would think it it is made for water wouldn't matter if was submerged in water?

This is a very good at controling pond algea,before incorperating the pond clarifier our pond water was so thick with stringy algea you couldnt see the fish ,we tried sun shade products filters,and chemicales nothing worked until we installed this pond clarifier,our pond water stays clean and clear of algea, this product has made our pond eveything we hoped it would .
