Heavy duty, it does the job

When they say tough built they mean it and thankfully it's all in the name. This thing is rugged yet very comfortable in your hand. The handle felt fantastic in my hand and the size of it makes it accommodating for people with many different size hands. Solid design and execution

I was very surprised at the quality of this hack saw. Maybe I shouldn’t have been since it’s literally called “Toughbuilt,” but regardless, I find the frame and the blade both designed and crafted extremely well. Because of this, it does have a bit of a weight to it. It works out for me as a good counterbalance, but for someone with a bit less muscle mass, it may be difficult to control. Wow! Nice Tool!!!

The Toughbuilt hacksaw is the nicest and most sturdy hacksaw I've ever owned. It has on-board storage for extra blades in the top (just loosen the screw to remove a blade), a really slick system for securing the tension on the blade, two cutting angles, and it's just a brut of a tool! Best Hacksaw I Have Ever Seen

Usually I am fixing or making things on a regular basis. A hacksaw is used just about anytime something is being fabricated. Seeing this little jewel was a surprise. Not your ordinary hack saw

I'm trashing my other hack saws. Compared to the ToughBuilt High Tension Hack Saw, they are just that: Trash. No more blades that wobble, bend, or twist as I try to start a cut in a metal rod. The good looks hide a couple of flaws.

I like the overall look and feel but a closer inspection and use shows some concerns. I like the option of being able to mount the blade in two positions and I also like being able to use a twist head to tighten the tension of the blade. But, the twist adjustment will come loose in your hand if you don't pay very close attention when releasing the tension of the blade when replacing it or changing positions. Great design features, unique blade tightening.

Every time I get a TOUGHBUILT product, I'm always pleasantly surprised with the quality and engineering design that went into it. This hacksaw continues the tradition with little features that make using the saw simple and left me saying "wow, that's nice." The packaging does not indicate that the blade tightening mechanism is at the top of the handle, but it only took a few seconds to realize it spins to tighten/loosen the blade. This Toughbuilt 12" High Tension Hacksaw is heavy-duty and built extremely well. It has great features like the large silver tension adjustment on top that is easy to use and adjust the tension of the cutting blade. Love this Saw,! Very Sturdy!

This is a heavy duty hacksaw capable of cutting the toughest material. The sturdy frame prevents blade twisting and is especially appreciated when the blade is set to 45 degrees. The saw comes with a 24 tooth universal blade which is mounted with the teeth up for safety. Be sure to remember this before attempting to cut anything and move the blade to the correct orientation.
