We have this mounted over a bathroom mirror, and we like the look. The round, slotted "universal" mounting bracket didn't line up with the threaded mount holes on the electrical box in our wall, so I had to drill a hole in the bracket in the right spot. I also had to replace the 2 screws that protrude from the bracket out through the rectangular base, with shorter versions. The light fixture can be mounted either way. I had ours mounted downwards as to no collect dust.

This light can be hung with bulbs up or down.

Very nice light with options of how you could install it. I bought 2.

absolute garbage

do not try to install yourself and if you get a professional they are going to charge way more than normal. I am a home repair specialist, this is the worst fixture to install, ended up returning.

Barrington 3 light

Not worth the price. For $100 it should come with the correct hardware and legible instructions. If you are installing on a round light fixture box make sure mounting holes are not at 3 and 9 as the included bracket will not fit. The included DD screws are too long and do not work. Do not follow the instructions, install the glass before attaching to the wall to make it easier. The included tool does not fit well and is awkward. Beautiful Light, but not an easy project

We purchased two of the Kichler Barrington 3-Light Black/Rustic Vanity Light bars. We didn't use it as a vanity light, but rather to replace sconces when we were remodeling. Nice Decorative Light with some installation issue

I really like the way these decorative lights look in our bathroom. However, the bulbs are very yellow. I like that for ambience but, if you need it to put on make up and such, you will likely need to install white or brighter bulbs. I can see how the installation would be easy if you have a compatible wall box. My house is only ten years old and apparently the builder used two different outlet boxes and neither were compatible with being able to get the screws lined up with the included mounti...

like the look. missing one of the three light bulbs out of the box. hardware requires you to attach directly to a electrical box. the fixture i was replacing was thirty years old and much longer so it was attached directly to the studs in the wall. Hence my wiring came threw the wall in between two studs and no way to attach this fixture to the wall. I had to get a little creative. Looks Good Very Poor QC

It's a very nice looking light. that's about the only hood thing. Had to trim down one of the screws otherwise it wouldn't tighten all the way. One of the end caps had to be glued back on. with those 2 issues I'd probably put it at 4/5 stars if it wasn't for the crooked light. 2 out of the 3 are perfect, but the 3rd is so crooked it's impossible to tighten the nuts that hold the glass on so the white threads are showing. Chipped Black and Poor Installation

I would buy a different fixture if I were to do it again. The “distressed” appearance of the metal looked like paint splatter, and there were chips on edges where bare metal was exposed. I used the provided hardware to install on the existing box. The long machine screws were so long that the black caps for the face of the light would not come close to securing it against the wall. I had to use 2 nuts on each screw as a spacer so the black cap would actually tighten down. Overall not a good expe...
