Actually, we love the furniture! It looks beautiful as a part of our newly redone patio and I don't think sitting on it when damp from the pool is an issue. This set is exactly what we needed for our arbor. The only concern is how long the foam padding in the seats will last. The assembly directions seem to be clear & well written. The first problem was that the sides of the chairs are made right & left sides. But they aren't labeled & it isn't apparent until you waste time if you happen to get them backwards at first. This cost me 30 minutes on the 1st chair. The 2nd problem is the steps appear to be in the correct order until you get stuck trying ...

We liked this set because you don't have to worry about cushions! It's comfy and easy to put together. Looks great on our patio as well. My only concern was that when I went to move it the other day, a significant amount of rusty water leaked out of the legs. Really? I've had it out there for less than a month. This usually occurs with cheapo stuff after a few years...not a set priced at almost $700 bucks...and right away after one rain fall!! So be aware! Honestly, I would have felt bett...
These seats are way more comfortable than I expected. The reason I'm knocking off a star is because the assembly instructions are not that great. I found it much easier to assemble the chairs/loveseat by switching the first two steps. I put the first chair together following the instructions in the order presented, but it was incredibly difficult and I needed a second person's help. NIce but the sun causes the weave to disintegrate
I love the look and the quality seems fine when we installed it. Within a year later, the sun has caused the weaving to become brittle and crumbling exposing the cushion underneath. Too bad furniture made for the outdoors does not hold up when in the outdoors. I live in SoCal and will take it back to the store for a refund. Bought this product pre-assembled. Got it home and used it briefly. One chair broke immediately. Extremely disappointed. Fastener connecting chair seat to frame appears to have broken. Connection did not look like all of the other connections. After examining the chair, all other connections had nuts welded in place to receive bolts. It looked like the "broken" connection did not have the nut welded in place. Chair appears to be non-fixable, as the nut was never installed during manufacturing. Y...
Just What I Wanted!
I purchased this set for my patio. I have been looking for a set without cushions, and this was exactly what I was looking for. The chairs and loveseat are comfortable, but the table does scratch easily. I have a similar table, and I recently spray painted it, so I assume at some point I will need to do that as well. There is foam under the seating, so it does absorb water when it rains...I did not think about this. I purchased a furniture cover to keep over it the set when we are not using...
Happy and comfy (but instructions suck!)
So happy with my new set, it looks great and is super comfy.... only bad thing, the instructions to assemble and the tool given are absolutely useless... They are not helpful at all. No details on what goes where. Had to pretty much throw them away and figure it out on my own. And what made it harder was the fact that one of the pieces was welded wrong in the arm chair, but I made due and the chair is holding (minus one screw that I couldn't put in).
Good set with terrible instructions
This is a nice looking set when you get it put together. As others have said, the instructions are severely lacking. All you get is a few drawings showing assembly steps with one or two written notes. Fairly standard for this day and age. They don't specify which chair arm is left or right, you just have to figure out that the round eye in one of the corners is for the seat back to mount to, and the eye needs to be oriented to the inside. You also have to figure out some of the other screw holes...
Unique Patio Furniture
Definitely the most unique patio furniture I've seen. I was looking for a wicker-like look that this set fit perfectly to my specifications. This look is clean, cooling, and still super comfy - thanks to the built in cushions! The only reason why this gets 4 stars is because the whole set is so easy to accidentally scratch up.
