I ordered this so that I would have the 4 piece set advertised in the store. It wasn’t available in my store anymore so I had to order it. The chairs came within a few days. Nice Set

So far so good. Everything went together flawlessly. For those having problems, my only guess is that either you attached the back of the chair to the wrong end of the seat, or you tightened everything up before starting all bolts. If you look at the chair seat, it just makes sense which way it should go, however it should be stated in the directions. The set is nice and we have been enjoying them. The only thing for me now, is to see how long they last. Because that's really what's important....

Beautiful set, but bolt alignment is awful.

I definitely recommend this set for comfort and style. The cushions are the thickness of indoor sofa...very nice. Fabric is a little scratchy tho. Assembly was horrible, I hired a man to put it together and I helped him by because some of the welds were so big, it made the bolts not line up. He finally got it together, but the bolts are sideways...not fitting in straight as they should. So while I do recommend it for quality, I do not recommend it for assembly. It cost me more than it should ha...

This is ridiculous...

Normally I would agree with the manufacturer as far as how easy this product would be to assemble. However there should have been a caveat that stated it is easy to assemble if the welds and bore lined up. I have no idea who constructed my set. The alignment was terrible. This manufacturer should fire their quality control person immediately. Some of the alignment was so bad, I could not insert the bolt. Purchased this and the 2 matching side chairs in January, 2021. Hint: when putting this together tighten a little at a time on each side. This way the holes align better. Beautiful set, but the fabric of the cushions are scratchy and uncomfortable to sit on. When you sit on a cushion, it should be soft to the touch not scratchy, so you want to sit on it all the time. Also, when it's windy, the back cushion gets blown away. Thinking of returning it.

This Couch/Bench is so comfortable! The Cushions are very well made and Thick. The Couch/Bench is weighty/Soliid , but not so Heavy that it makes it hard to move around. We have not put the table together yet, not sure how I will use it yet. we are so very Happy with this set . We purchased the Chairs the dining chairs and some extra to put in our Lanai area, We just Love this whole Glenn Hill Set of Furniture for the Patio !

Great price- but check your box!

I found this set to be beautiful and fairly easy to put together. Another review said to keep all bolts loose until everything is in place then tighten- this advice was gold! Taking one star because the loveseat was missing the two arms from the box- we had to put everything back and run back to Lowe’s to exchange. Thankfully the new box had everything we needed.

My Construction Suggestion

1. Stand up back against wall (avoid windows or glass doors). 2. Attach arms to back by single screws. DO NOT TIGHTEN. 3. Attach seat to front legs (3 screws), making sure other brackets are inside rear legs. DO NOT TIGHTEN. 4. Attach seat to rear legs (2 screws). 5. Once all screws are well started, tighten all screws.

I was really wanting to purchase the elliot creek collection . Out of stock so settled for this glenn hill. Overall looks good. But not sure if its sturdy enough. Need two people to assemble. Only advice I can give is not to tighten the bolts till all are in first if not you will probably have trouble with it not aligning properly.

A Blend of Good and Bad

The individual components appear well-made and durable. The problem lies in the poor connections. The female threaded holes have slag around them and it forces the other holes out of alignment. I bought 4 chairs and a loveseat. Once chair and the love seat remain unassembled. Time to break out a grinder...
