Missing parts

First box was missing valance brackets to attach it and also missing the bottom end caps. It's super annoying to have to go back and deal with traffic. I don't even want to open the second package that I can tell has already been opened.

The blinds are wonderful

I love these Levelor blinds. The process to get them was arduous. They didn't have enough in the store. I was told to order online, which you can not do for this item at any store. I found a rogue number through research and spent another hour explaining what I needed. Arghhh. Good news-they look great.

Not worth it

Lowe's would only cut the width, not the length that I needed. You have to do that part yourself. It was a long and tedious chore. I installed it on the outside of the window trim and there were two problems. One is when you pull to draw it down, the tension is VERY tight... too tight. Secondly, when pulling it down, the entire shade came off the brackets and fell down several times. The bracket should clamp together but the construction of it is cheap. Great product and terrible customer care.

I bought this to replace one that was broken, and it had to match the one on the window right beside it. They both are mounted inside the window frame. Also, it was important that it be trimmed to fit. So, I took the broken one to Lowes in order to get a perfect fit. The trim & go option available from Levolor was the right choice for me. My handy man installed it, and it fit perfectly until he tried to install the valance. It was 1/4 inch too long so it would not fit inside the window opening. ...

Bought a total of eight of these for bedrooms, living and dining rooms. They were recommended by my contractor who also had installed them in his own home. They look beautiful, are not flimsy or cheap looking and are very easily adjusted for desired light and privacy level. Two panels had to be trimmed to fit the window size. Second Blinds install Failed

So the blind saga continues. My husband went back to the store a second time to pick up the blinds. They were supposed to be cut the first time he picked them up, but someone dropped the ball. Nice Blind, Short Wand

I would recommend these blinds but with a caveat, the included wand is too short for tall windows. Since my window is 71in tall the included 23.5in wand was very short. If you are a shorter person (5ft 4in or less) or have little kids you will probably want to purchase a longer wand (like Home Decorations 36in replacement wand). Really like the "cordless" feature!

After 20 years the old mini blinds were looking sad. I kept stalling my wife because they remained functional. Then the day came when they broke. Couldn't dodge that one anymore. Can't say that I am the home handyman but with a little measure twice, cut once they fit great and at last glance are still securely in place. Most importantly, happy wife, happy life!

Senior taken advantage of..

Lowes sold me the wrong blinds and the installers didnt tell me that they were not the right blinds and installed them anyway and left without any mention that the blinds were wrong. In the mean time Lowes did give me an adjustment because of their mistake. Measurements were completed by Lowes window people and I feel that the installer should have made me aware of the ill fitted blinds as soon as they notices that they were wrong for my type of window which they did not. Let's just say you get what you pay for. If you're already going to spend money on blinds you might as well buy better ones and spend a little more. You need forearms of hercules to twist and open these blinds. We are talking 20 twists just to get halfway on brand new blinds. And this isn't a one-off case. It's like this on all eight blinds that we've bought. When you twist the stick it moves the valance around because the balance doesn't stick out far enough. The other issue of the valance is ...
