I bought three of these Portfolio 4-Light 6-in Brushed Nickel Vanity Light Bar fixtures to replace the long "Hollywood strips" my house was built with. The large backplate perfectly covered the unfinished and unpainted wall beneath the original lights. REALLY Cheap Do NOT buy

The fixture does not have the ceramic nuts to hold on the globes(as pictured) It has these sharp lousy metal cups. Fixture was also defective, completely installed and tried to install lamps, and one of the sockets was defective. Removed, returned and bought a fixture that was completely assembled, with globes, from HD for $5 more. Also only took about 10 minutes from box to done.

Worst light ever

I am a professional handyman, and this is the worst light install ever ..what you may save on the product you’re going to spend on the install, poorly constructed definitely not install friendly , took twice as long, grab some marshmallows, and you can roast them by the campfire at night. It’s gonna take some time and patience.

Looks nice but ...

We looked everywhere for vanity lighting that contained both a rectangular bar, four lights, and pretty globes. This seemed like the perfect option. It installed easily but there are two bottom screws that hold this to the mounting plate that are noticeable. They do not insert fully, look a bit off. Exactly What We Needed and Looks Great

I looked at this online but wife and I wanted a close up look in the store. We were very happy to see it was just what we wanted. The fixture is very attractive and the finish is very nice. We had to buy the lights and globes separately, but Lowes had a lot of each to choose from. We selected a clear globe with air bubbles in it for maximum light. We also chose clear bulbs. It was packed well and all parts were there and a few extra in case your mount was different and needed a little doctoring....

easy install if the prep work was done right.

nice fixture, and adding the globes we got, it is beautiful. matches the medicine cabinet and the rest of the room decor perfectly. Lights up the room well when used with pure light bulbs (40w equ) leds.

Looks good, but they rust fast

This vanity lighting fixture installed in at my apartment building: hbpads. This fixture looks really good, but I've noticed it starts to rust after a couple of years. And after three years, it looks really old. I'm not sure if living by the beach has anything to do with it cause of the saltwater, but I've replaced three of these fixtures in the last couple of years. Take a look at the rust on the old fixture that I replaced-it was installed about three years.

Kinda Junky

I'm surprised people are calling this pricey. I bought it because I thought it was cheap. I got 4 shades for $20 to go with it. It is a bit shiny, so it coordinates with chrome or brushed nickel. The shades are a bit off kilter, but within tolerance. Also, the cover is about a 1/4" off the wall on one side, for whatever reason. The mounting plate was flush, so who knows. My main concern is the poor threading for both the shade fitting and the where you screw the light bulb in. It takes forever...

Disappointed

The $40 light fixture requires you buy about $52 worth of globes/lamps to complete the set. The store does not stock a full set of most of the globes/lamps so we could only buy 3 of the 4 we needed in the design we selected. The 4th was supposed to be automatically ordered when the other 3 were sold. Neat and functional light

This light solved the problem of the electrical box not being centered over the vanity. The wide and long backplate hides that fact. With the alabaster shades, it looks pretty nice. It's only been installed for a week so no telling yet how the finish will hold up in the bathroom.
