I had no idea conical glass shades would be so rare; there are so many bell-shaped ones on the market. I was looking for a more of a modern look. The smoky white design makes them visually interesting and they have the translucency I was seeking. They are a little short for most light bulbs though, but I knew that before purchasing. I would have liked them to be longer but I'm just happy to find white, conical, and translucent.
