It has an easy install overall. I bought this same one, just an older model, about 5 years ago. I only replaced it because the old one rusted. My complaint is that the piece that hold the covers is hard to screw fully back on once the covers are on. It also has a sharp edge so therefore I ended up cutting my hand when attempting to tighten them fully.

Easy to install, good value
Easy install, globes can hang down or point up (how we installed them). A good match for an oiled bronze faucet. Had to return the first box due to a thread issue on the bar. Second box and everything lined up and assembled perfectly.

Simple install
The fixture was relatively simple to wire and install. The only change that would make it easier to install would be to put the screws on the flat face of the fixture instead of the edges. Since the edges are only about 1/2 inch, it is a little difficult to hold the screw and get a screwdriver turning so close to the wall.

Awkard Installation
Required 3 hours to install and 20% of the job took 80% of the time. The house did not have a junction box so the mounting plate was attached to drywall. No problem. Two criticisms: 1) I used a level to meticulously get the mounting plate absolutely level. I replaced my existing hallway half bath vanity bar sconce with this new sconce. It is an attractive fixture that looks modern and up to date. We bought 2 of these and also 2 of the 3 light models. We had an electrician come and do the install. On opening one of the 4 light boxes, we found a damaged and scratched light fixture and nothing else. No back plate, no screws, no instructions and no wire nuts. A very good looking stylish vanity light
I was very pleased with this light. The photos online and on the box don't do it justice. The brushed nickle finish is a rich looking surface, it was easy to install in a temporary space (my bathroom renovation was delayed) and I like the idea that it can be mounted upright or down. Don't forget that this does NOT come with shades, you must buy them separately. I don't have mine yet so the photos just show standard size lightbulbs to show that the unit does, in fact work.
