Great structural fitting.
Worked great for a pass through hand rail. Set screw was secure enough to prevent rotation and slippage.
Excellent Tee fitting for Projects
I really like using this as you can assemble just about anything you want like guard rails with pipe and these Tee fittings. Super easy to work with just need pipe cutters and an Allen Wrench!
Strong and fast to set up
These things are exactly what they look like. Large tee fitting for structural pipe. In case you're buying this purely online, just note that 1-1/4 inch refers to the interior diameter of the pipe. The interior diameter of the fitting is around 1.375" or 32.925mm for you metric folks. The outer diameter of the pipe they're typically used with is 1.315". These are huge and quite heavy duty. Building Pipe Furniture
I also left this review under another fitting. I wanted to build a C table to fit in the corner of a sectional since there is no where to place drinks etc. In my research of fittings, found there were non-threaded structural connectors to attach the pipe. 1 1/4 inch. Really?
Apparently this isn't for 1 1/4 inch conduit pipe. I bought these to make a cross bar for a handrail I was making out of 1 1/4" conduit pipe. This piece is much larger than than that. It almost fits 1 1/2" pipe, but not quite. I ended up having to fabricate a T connector for my project.

Easy to use. Very strong.
I built an 32" x 80" desk. The flanges and pipes were easy to work with. I cut the pipes to size using a jigsaw, but a hacksaw would work as well. Once all the screws are tightened properly, this provided a rock solid base for the desk. At first, it may seem like it will not be sturdy, but screws need to be fully tightened at all connections, then it's extremely sturdy. It supports a 1.5" top, which at that size weighs a decent amount. [I added reviews to all the pipes and fittings I used.]

Handy for Custom furniture without welding
Nice design, structurally sound. Easy to use (just make sure you have the appropriate Allen Wrench handy!). So far, Lowes is the only place I've found that sells these. Can be a little pricey if you get into the larger sizes (I used 1 1/4" to build a coffee table base). Still beats breaking out the welder to fabricate, and this allowed me to be flexible with my design and 'try it out' before setting things more semi-permanent.
