Sta-Green® Tall Fescue premium-grade grass seed is specially formulated to deliver a beautiful lawn that prevents damage from insects and disease and thrives in both sunny and shady conditions. This seed is treated with QuikGrow2X, a special coating technology that includes a beneficial fungicide to protect against deadly fungi during the critical establishment period. This mixture contains patented American Ryegrass, which is bred to germinate faster than other cool season grasses. In the right conditions, you’ll begin to see results in as little as five days.

My wife and I have been Lowe’s Veteran members for several years. We have purchased everything from landscaping materials, to lumber, tools and home improvement projects. Was rejuvinating my lawn, added 4 yards of awesome compost and doubled the rate. Took 2 weeks to start germinating and very spermatic. At another month after germination I have a lot of thin spindly blades of new grass about 1.5". I have planted dozens of new lawns and this product is a complete let down. Basically miss this years window weather wise with incredable input of time and labor and money. It's a Pass!

An entire lawn of brand new top soil, clean slate spread this grass 20#s. My soil is littered with weeds. No grass, just weeds! Super bummed, now I need to dig up my yard (1/4 acre) and start all over again. Thanks Lowes! 😤
