Repot your rose into a larger container using the allen + roth resin planter with drainage to give roots more room to grow. Fill the bottom and sides of the planter with Sta-Green Organic Potting Soil Mix to provide a rich, well-draining growing medium that supports healthy root development. Carefully remove the Altman Plants Red Knock Out Rose from its nursery pot and gently loosen any circling roots before placing it in the new container. Position the rose so the top of the root ball sits level with the surrounding soil, then fill around the roots with additional potting mix and lightly firm the soil. Water thoroughly after planting to help settle the soil and eliminate air pockets around the roots. Place the container in a location that receives at least six hours of direct sunlight each day for best flowering performance. After the rose begins establishing in its new container, feed it with Sta-Green Organic Natural Flower Food to provide organic nutrients that encourage healthy foliage and continuous blooms. Continue watering when the top inch of soil begins to dry while avoiding overly saturated soil. Remove faded flowers throughout the season to encourage new blooms and maintain an attractive appearance. Together, these container planting essentials help DIY gardeners successfully repot, nourish, and enjoy beautiful Knock Out roses all season long.
