Clean cuts with no burn

I had to replace my old blade that lost a few teeth. I heard about spyder and I used this as an opportunity to check them out. I'm glad I did. I ripped this through a ton of 4x4 poles and it took them like a champ. Basically feels sanded on the cut end because it cut so smooth. I would recommend this primarily for wood. If you cut vinyl flooring with these blades they're bound to get glue and gunk in the blades. Overall great product and I would highly recommend it.

A Framing Blade Close to Finishing Blade Quality

A really nice blade. The Spyder Tarantula 40-tooth blade (photo 1) in this review is a framing blade, designed for quick cuts on framing materials. It does the job well. Qua;ity blade, excellent performance

This 12” carbide-tipped saw blade appears to be well made, perfectly balanced, and when installed, ran smoothly. I tried it with several pieces of hardwood, and in each case it made smooth and perfect cuts, passing through the hard wood effortlessly. I also tried cutting a thin section (3/32”) from the end of a piece of hardwood (see photos). Nice Finish Cuts

The 40 tooth 12inch “tarantula” framing saw blade by Spyder Tools fit my sliding compound miter saw perfectly. It comes standard with the 1” round arbor and nickel cobalt carbide teeth set at an alternating bevel that provide a nice finish cut. The blade max RPM is 7800 and is good for both wood and MDF. I got this saw blade as a replacement for the original blade that came on my 12" miter saw that I've been using on jobs for maybe 5-6 years (too long, for sure). I had just replaced the 12" blade on my miter saw with a brand new $60 major brand 80 tooth finishing blade when the $40, 40 tooth SPYDER arrived, so I decided to compare the two. First I tested the 80 tooth and it produced a nice smooth cut with almost no tearing visible, then the 40 tooth SPYDER. Aggressive saw blade for the tough job

Years ago we removed some 2x4 pressure treated boards from our deck and I've built a few outdoor projects from them. Cutting these 25+ year old boards has proven to be a strain on my saw. Solid Heavy blade

This is quite possibly the most durable saw blade I have ever owned. Upon removing the blade from the package I could feel its durability, and upon running my fingers over the blades it is extremely sharp. The vents are always a bonus, and if you ever see these types of blades without them you know they are cheap. Fantastic quality blade

I used this blade to replace my worn out 80T blade on my 12” miter saw. I used it to chop through a large amount of wood that I was cutting up as some scrap. I didn’t have to measure anything, so I was just quickly and repeatedly making cuts. The blade stayed rather cool and didn’t heat up much at all. I typically buy finish blades with a high tooth count but would use them for all phases of work. I decided to try the Spyder 40-tooth framing blade because it was more economical than prematurely sharpening one of my more expensive, finish blades. The results were better than expected.
