What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this product for effectively concealing wires and cables behind walls, creating a clean, professional appearance. Most highlight its success hiding HDMI, Ethernet, and multiple power cords for wall-mounted TVs and entertainment systems, with many noting it fits numerous cables with room to spare. Reviewers consistently report easy installation without professional help, appreciating the flexible cable routing and straightforward design. A few mention minor issues with the brush mechanism or small openings for thicker cords, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by positive feedback, with most customers recommending it despite minor drawbacks.

Used to use a different version of these that were great. Now if the wires cause the cable access strap to unclip the whole thing including the brushes falls apart. Go back to the old design. If people like that feature it's fine but it shouldn't make the hold the finished part on. IMO it just gets in the way.

Cables out of view
Very sturdy construction, it has cable organizers on the back. I used it to pass 4 hdmi cables and the brush part keeps them in a single line, the way I set them in the first place. It fits nicely in the radiant plate.

WOULD be great
I was excited to see this product as I've used similar cable management in server rooms. While it provides the same function, it is made from poor materials. Most faceplates are made of hard plastic, this is made of a hard vinyl so the screws can rip right through the faceplate if you're not careful. The nuts that the faceplate screw go into also strip very easily, either cross threading or from yet again, vinyl that it is held in. At around $8 for the white and the almond being half that cost, ...
Good option for cable, needs better instructions
I used this instead of a 90 degree coax connector. I had a cable behind a large dresser and it kept bending it, which I knew would probably lead to the cable failing. With this I was able to have the cable come out at any angle I wanted it to, without having to come straight out and then bending 90 degrees. It could use better instructions, as you need to use the silver screws to attach the part shown to the box, then the white ones to attach the outlet cover to it.

Good, but not for 3 prong ac cords.
Great for network, coax, USB or HDMI/DP. I need to hide a 3 prong AC extension cord that hangs from my wall mounted tv. The opening is way too small for my application. Unfortunately, this was the only size & type they had in store. I might be able to use this down the road so I'll put it in my junk drawer.
Great universal wall plate
This wall plate is a great wall plate for that universal application where the specific plate needed is too expensive or does not exist. In my case our office added new cable internet service and instead of adding a new junction box for the coax I added it together with the existing 4 ethernet cables and used this brush plate. Best price around and now that HD stores do not carry the GE plate shown online, Lowe's was the only place to get it from locally. White plate color does not match regula...

overall a decent wall plate
I used two of these wall plates to use with my newly wall mounted tv. I put one behind the tv to put the cords through, the second one towards the floor for the cords to come out and into a cabinet. I was able to fit two HDMI cables, composite cables, set of rca's, and my Xbox kinect wire and I still have room. I did manage to get my tvs power cord tan through with some modification. The ends of the power cable (either end) are just a hair too big to fit through, so I had to take the plate apart...

There are better options out there!
This appeared to be a good item, but turned out to be a dud. The opening is very small and didn't allow the connectors on all the cables to easily pass through the opening. I had to wind up using a Dremel tool to grind away at the edges to allow for the cable connectors to pass through. IMHO: you would be better served getting and using the large round fixtures instead of this dog!

looks good, opening a little small
Nice to be able to hide wires in the wall and still have access to the electrical outlets. The biggest issue with this product was getting some of the bigger plugs through the opening. Wound up cutting the brush frame in half and reassembling after getting the plug in place.

The opening is specifically designed to be small because it is meant only for low voltage cords, like HDMI or coax. If you are using power cords beh...
Good approach to hiding wires
The use of the plates is self-evident though a couple of aspects are worth noting. First to properly use this product in wallboard a separate low voltage box is needed. It costs less than the plate. Second the wires need to be fished from one box to the other. The distance between my two boxes was not significant but I can see where longer runs or materials in the wall such as insulations could make it more difficult.
