I have had this washing machine, and the matching dryer for 1 full year at this point. This set replaced a 2008 Samsung set also purchased at Lowe's. This model was nearly identical in features to my 2008 machine, maybe a couple more wash settings but not much else. The only reason I replaced the old set is that the dryer finally stopped heating. Decent machine, assembled wrong, awful service.

For some reason there is no way to edit my previous review so I'm posting a new one. Since I got the washing machine, it produced a loud squealing noise whenever it was operating (usually loudest during the rinse cycle), coming from near the drain pump filter. Ok while it lasted

Was a good machine for a couple of years. After just four years of use, the bearing is shot and I have no choice but to buy a new machine since the repair price is more than a new machine. The non-Samsung repair person I brought in said Samsung has dissimilar metals in the machine so it may have corroded prematurely. Do not buy Samsung Washing Machines

This is my 2nd Samsung washing machine in the past 6 years so I should have known not to buy one. I've had this for just over two years and it just stopped running. I called a tech and he said it was an issue with the motherboard and would have to order a new one, which was already on back order. I have a family and can't wait weeks to fix a washing machine. I haven't had this washer for 6 months yet and it is already broken to the point where it would be better to just buy a new washer from a different company. Buyer Be Wary

It was my ONLY option during COVID shopping. Lasted just a little shy of 2 years before it completely destroyed the plastic holding the weight to the machine.
