Safavieh unresponsive & will not buy from again

I bought two of these chaise lounges in the summer, the black with white cushion. Upon opening the boxes, the cushion was a bit dirty and yellowed as if they sat out for 10 yrs. What is more astounding is that the instructions inside the cushion say they should not be outside. They are outdoor loungers!??!! They do not clean well either. Also, one of the wheels was flat. I contacted Safavieh by phone but cannot get thru to anyone, so I had to email twice.. NEVER heard back from them. I still ...

Pretty but, not made well at all.

I am beyond disappointed with these lounge chairs. They are pretty, but the hardware is not weather resistant. When the hardware gets wet (from rain or just by virtue of being outdoors near water - pool, spa, sprinklers), it drips and creates rust that stains the concrete. The stains are permanent and have forever damaged my concrete. Also, the wheels literally fall off. The hardware that came with the lounge chairs is not correct and it is constantly having to be tightened. Too many problem...

Stain

They are beautiful and seem well built but after literally 3 days of having them they permanently stained my brand new pool deck ( which is limestone and it was sealed). I specifically bought these with the wood bottom instead or metal but no matter how cute they are - not worth ruining your deck. The cushions also stay wet for a long time. Sunny and 70 outside and they stayed wet for hours. Think I'll have to return them unfortunately.

Piece of junk

I bought this chair for my husband‘s birthday. When we opened up the box all the screws were just loose rolling around in the box. The underside of the chair was badly scratched. My husband said he didn’t mind since it was underneath and no one would see it but you actually do see it. We’ve had it a month and a half and already you can’t adjust the sitting position of the chair because it is so warped. I am horribly disappointed in this chair and in Lowe’s for carrying garbage like this.

Confused

So I paid for two new Chairs and I got sent one new one and one used one. What gives Lowes? This your standard practice? For as much as these chairs cost, I would have almost expected an employee in a Tuxedo to assemble them. Since I know that is not a reality, am I asking to much to buy two new chairs and have two new chairs delivered? The Chair is fine, it's the whole sending me a used chair thing that has me feeling slighted

Great Product - Great Price

My wife found this item online at another retailer's site; but they would not deliver to Hawaii. I went to Lowe's site, placed the order, and had the item within a week. I assembled the lounge chair in about 20 minutes; and my wife loves it (as does her cat). We have two other more expensive chaise lounge chairs; but they do not have the pull-out tray. Overall, this is a great chair at a great price.

Priced right for Christmas budget.

The cushions are too slippery. They are tied up great enough onto the frame but the fabric is too slick I’m afraid it will rip off from the ties when you lay. Secondly, this item ships from vendor (not Lowe’s) and 1 of 2 came broken! Overall, priced right for the time being. But will need to invest on better cushions.

Chaise Lounges

These were exactly as pictured on the website. They look great, I love the sliding shelf that can come out in either direction and the wheels make it very easy to maneuver. I had hoped to put them together myself as I enjoy doing this, but the screws became so tight as I was screwing them in that I had to get a handyman to do the assembly.

Assembly required

Great lounge, solid fabric and stitching. Lumber materials were both beefy with good finish. They only issue I had during assembly was that a few of these pre drilled holes were over drilled in such a way that the screws didn't grab enough when fully seated. I used a bit of construction adhesive to ensure it wouldn't come loose. Other than that seems like a food product.

Ok as long as you don't sit or lay on it

This is flimsy 3/4 'hard' wood in a reddish color resembling something exotic. Lesson learned. I actually have a 2" C-clamp holding the back brace together. This chaise will not hold up to any sort of use and certainly not Florida weather. A good rule of thumb is a decent piece of outdoor furniture whether a chair, chaise or couch should cost 4 figures. Outdoor furniture is expensive or it's garbage.
