Decent, but doesn't last long

A low-end drill, so don't expect it to last long. 4 years and it is have trigger issues. When I depress gently for a slow drill speed, it occasionally produces a loud electronic whine, no spin , then flashes its white led. So most times it'll engages and spin, but not always. This is with light household use. Eg maybe I'll use it once every 2-3 months, most times longer between uses. Compact yet Powerful

I have an old 19.2 volt lithium ion Drill Driver, 3/8" keyless chuck and a single speed motor (up to 600 RPM). I have used this tool on many occasions to do "small ==> big" repair jobs around the house. Best 12 volt drill I have ever owned!!

I have had the Skil Pwr Core drill for a couple of weeks and find that it works very well in the projects I have tried. The ability to see the charge state and quick charge capability is very useful when only having a single batter. The USB A charge capability is another very nice feature. I no longer need the Ryobi 18 volt drills that I now have because the Skil has plenty of torque for my jobs and it is much lighter than the 18 volt Ryobis. Last 20 mins

The drill was only able to drill 6 holes in 1/4 pine, and shoot 12 3" screws in pine and then hardwood. Before the 2 ah battery dropped to one light and the drill would flash from overload or to hot. All was done in a 20 min time frame. I thought this would do better. I have a old brushed 20v worx drill and a 1.5 ah and it lasted for hours and over 80 screws.

Long battery Life!

Best experience I've ever had using a cordless drill. I used this to drill pilot holes in some projects I was working on. I was very impressed with the long battery life. I usually have to stop in the middle of projects to let my drill battery charge, but not this time. I was able to use it the whole day with zero lag, slow down or frustration. Decent Drill

A good and powerful drill (for its size) somewhat hampered by a less than ideal hand tightened drill head that will sometimes annoy you by dropping your drill bits or screw bits. Sometimes it won't let screw bits go, and even when open, you have to wiggle them out. It's a stupid problem. Overall, it still manages to perform well. Hopefully, they work this bug out in new versions, because the system itself is outstanding.

My new favorite tool

This drill is light, strong, and the drill location light is a great help. I gave it four out of five stars because its performance with small diameter bits is lacking. The chuck doesn’t hold bits less than 1/8” tightly enough, and they tend to freeze in wood or get pushed into the chuck. I’ve learned to have angled pliers with wide jaws within reach to thoroughly tighten the bit into place.

I have this 12V drill because a month ago I bought the kit that includes the battery impact driver, charger and this hammer drill.
