Great Sander

Absolutely Love this machine , replace an out dated one which I couldn't find replacement parts, searched long and hard before I decided on this one,although some say these are allmade in.sme factory, I can say for srme this is a Great product. Serves my application perfectly, as I only have a small shop and space is a premium. This machine fits my needs excellently. Overall very pleased with my puchase. Highly recommend this product. One more thing, Love the dust collection port. Hope this help...

Project Power Finish

Well designed versatile sander powers the rough edges off any project. Easy to use straight out of the box. Low noise and vacuum attachment (optional) makes the working environment fun for a longer session of finish sanding. Multi-position belt and disc options tackle anything I throw at them. Enhances my hobby and makes my final pieces better.

Skil bench sander.

I have had the opportunity to use my new bench sander. It’s a quality product that does a great job finishing my projects. I haven’t had the opportunity to change a belt or sanding disc yet. There was a limited supply of belts and disc’s for this model. I would like to see more choices.

Retired woodworking Doctor

I had a 6" X 48" all the yrs I lived in Iowa. I downsized to this after moving to Florida and turning 72! I luv it! If your building furniture it will be too small. For small woodworking projects, perfect. Big enough, powerful, quiet, great disk, light enough to carry around. You have to unlock the table with the Allen wrench and move it to vertical position to change belt. A very minor hassle. I would highly recommend it to any woodworker doing small projects.

Just What I Needed

Works find, came in good condition, love it. Haven't put it to good use yet. In the process of having new concrete floor installed in my unfinished garage addition, but didn't want to miss out on a good deal.

The fences are out of square.

The fences are out of square by a long shot. I can an will bend them to square or build my own if that proves a better solution. I do design work for a living and a more cost efficient solution for a fence for the belt and disc could have been used that would be both fool proof to design, and easy to assemble by the customer.

It is fast and powerful and the build quality is great for the price point. I have used it several times and have not found anything that I do not like about it. I will continue to use this for small projects and may even mount it in my bog work van!

disc/ belt sander

Very easy to set up. You will want to spin the belt by hand first to make sure it runs true. For a home shop, it's a very good sander, just let it do its job. Belts are easy to change and readily available. The motor is fairly quiet with plenty of power if you don't use a lot of force.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have never had or used a belt and disc sander before this one, but now wish I had gotten one a lot sooner! The belt is easy to use for larger wood sizes and makes for quick work getting things smoothed out. The disc allows for multiple angles and the guide assists in getting accurate coverage. I love the easy on/off switch which is an added safety feature.
