Update Doorbell
This door bell works with already installed doorbells. It was easy to set up and get the app started. It sends me notifications when someone is at my door or passing by. I have noticed sometimes however is lags or misses a passing car. Overall works well.

I purchased a wired doorbell to replace the existing doorbell and had been considering getting one. When it went on sale decided to purchase. Have othe ring items. It installed relatively easy and functions as expected.

DIY installation can be a problem.
Purchase was easy. I planned to use my existing wired chime. That's where I encountered problems. The chime setup was so old it was incompatible with the new wired Ring Pro system. I had to go back and purchase a Ring chime, then hot wire the old setup to provide power to the doorbell. I now have everything working, but setting up zones isn't that easy. its good for what you are paying for. it doesn't sit quite right on brick and the signal doesn't connect all the time even though its right next to the router, but dependable enough. if you are willing to pay more buy the wifi version.
