I purchased this patio door in August of 2018 and self installed with no issues. The sliding door pane had an issue with the internal blinds not closing correctly and a cord in the center of the blinds eventually broke in September 2019, causing the blinds to sag in the middle slightly. They were still functional but left about a half inch gap at the top when fully closed. Poor design on a few important features

A sliding patio door is a sliding patio door these days. All the difference is in not designing it poorly The issues I’ve noticed after installation! 1. Looks Good, Has Issues Though

This is a nice looking door. But there are some quality issues with it. I had to place my own weather strip on the slider. The original is so thin you could hear outdoor noises when the door was closed and locked. If you pushed on the door you would hear a crunch sound, from where the weather strip did not seal tight. Since I added a rubber strip, the sounds are gone and the crunch is gone. Blinds open and close fine although the controls are just a bit stiff. I really wish the blinds closed flu...

Warranty Trouble

I bought two of these doors, a right and a left, and had to drive to another town to pick up one of them because the store in my town didn't carry both and they wouldn't transfer it from one store to another. Other than that everyone we dealt with was very courteous and professional and the first door is installed and is great. We bought this door in a pinch.. Our old sliding glass door was broken during some remodeling.. I was skeptical because of the reviews, but this was what my budget could take. I LOVE my new door.. It was easily installed into the same spot that my 30+ year old door was.. The blinds look and work great. I have only had it for one week but so far it has survived a heavy thunderstorm w/o any issues.

This door is horrible, it says nail fins are easy to remove, well, they're not.. you have to cut it with a utility knife and it's impossible not to cut the the vinyl frame behind it, after hours of hard work finally installed the door and the idiots drilled the holes wrong for the door handle, so my keys are useless unless I want the handles facing the frame, the door is hard to slide, very heavy, I would not recommend this poor designed crap door...

Very nice door for the price.

Would Recommend

So far we are very pleased with the Reliabilt Blinds between the glass sliding door. Instillation was a snap. The blinds work perfectly letting letting the proper amount of light into the room anytime of day. $699 was a fair price, but when the door was delivered to my house it was priced $599. I asked customer lowes.com customer service about this and they told me a manager would be calling me. That was over a week ago.
