2/2 doors arrived in need of repair

I ordered two 32 inch right hinge solid core interior doors. It took 3 weeks to get them. When I got the doors and began to install them, I discovered that the top hing on both doors was misaligned relative to its mortise. You can see the gap between the hinge and the door in one photo and you can see the hinge sitting on top of the mortise in the other. The top hinge on the other door was identically misaligned. QC lacking a bit

Several dings and marks all over the jamb and door. The stop was nowhere near even on the top and had to be adjusted quite a bit. Latch plate and strike plate cutouts were rough and had to be cleaned up with a chisel.

Solid solid door, unsolid frame

I loved the door weight and quality. Feels heavy and solid when I close it. The frame is thin and bends very easily. I would give the door a 5 and the frame a 1. The door and the premortise for hinges and door handle hardware are what you are paying for. So I have it a 4 stars. Know that the frame is going to warp and go whatever way you want it or your wall wants it to go, get some extra shims if you have a wonky house like mine.

Online ordering process was quick, and local store customer service staff was very professional and well trained. Solid core door fit perfectly into our laundry room door opening, and installation was very easy.
