Terribly loud and cheaply made

Installation was much more difficult than it should be for a pre-fab product. Once it was in, we found that the track was horribly noise (louder than tracks that have been in the house for 45 years). Additionally, the frame for the 24" door is only 23 1/2" deep, and that's after removing the door bumper. Terrible product! I had to spend another $40 to order a decent track, then faced the front trim with another 3/4" strip so the door would roll all the way in.

Easy to install

This was super easy to install, hardest part was tearing out the wall and changing the studs, since it was not previously a pocket door. A few wooden shims and it was level in no time. I don't understand how people had so many issues with the door. I almost didn't buy it based on the reviews, but am so glad I did. My only complaint is that the company put close to 30 staples in it, some to hold the cardboard instructions and some to hold wooden blocks to keep the door from warping during shippin...

Not a Jonson, but decent enough for price point.

Decent enough construction, and quality. We bought this one for use in our ongoing remodel of our home. This is for a half-bath that's small, and the pocket door is perfect for this type room. The half-bath is a complete re-do, from the floor up, walls and all, so I haven't installed the door yet, but this frame looks up to the job for a 24" x 80", 30-50lb door. Double Pocket Doors

Decided to install two(2), 24" pocket frames and doors to establish a 48" opening for a walk-in closet. I had to do a few small modifications to the rail and top frame, then add a couple stops so the guides would not come off the top rails. They look and operate great. What an easy project.

Pocket Door

We had to modify the length of the door frame simply because ceilings and doors in our basement are low. This frame was easily modified and installed. First time ever installing pocket door and it works perfectly!

Not bad, but takes some effort

This wasn't too bad at all. It is definitely a day project maybe more. The largest problem we had was keeping everything level. But with good measuring and a shim or four this should be kept to a minimum. This is the first time we installed a pocket door and we did it in a place in which the wall was already open.
