I love this shade for the copper band, however, it is very fragile. I ordered 5 of them for a new dining room light and 3 arrived broken. For my return, the poor store clerk brought me two from the shelf that were also broken. They had to order replacements which, thankfully, arrived unbroken! The look of this shade is great, but beware - treat them with care!

I am trying to replace one that has been hanging for a long time as part of a set. Someone in my house broke the shade. I was happy to see they are still being sold but the one I brought home has some kind of imperfection near the top which makes the bulb inside sit crooked. I returned it and found every other one at the store had the same issue. As did every one at a second store I went to.

Attractive but lacking in quality control
We bought three of these glass light shades for over our island. Two of the three seemed warped and hung crooked. We returned two and looked for two others. What was left on the shelf were two with crooked trim and missing a glass lip to hold the trim and one super thick (slightly off center), a thin reasonable straight one, and one that had already been returned. I was disappointed that I could not find three that were good quality. Maybe they are all supposed to hang different?

3 pendant lights over island are wonderful and good quality but when I ordered online the coppery bands didn’t match. Quick trip to Lowe’s to pick out exactly what I wanted and the finished look is beautiful!

These worked out great with the dining room fixture, I had 3 pendant lights hung and I used daylight 60w LED bulbs, and the amount of light they put out is great! These would make great globes for accent lighting, pendant lights, etc.
